About The Position

Haleon is seeking a Product and Technology Manager to join their Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team. This role is responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers to support the lifecycle management of products manufactured on-site, ensuring technical strategy aligns with future directions and complies with regulatory, quality, and industrial requirements. The Montreal facility is a manufacturing site for liquid, solid, and semi-solid health products, involving complex regulatory factors, technical processes, and high-risk activities. This is a 100% Onsite position in Ville Saint-Laurent.

Requirements

  • Mastery of French is required for effective communication and adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Science, product development, or technical operations.
  • Experience in a technical manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment and adhere to quality standards.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders in other provinces/countries.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry.
  • Experience in managing a technical team.
  • Knowledge of validation processes (processes, cleaning, etc.).
  • Experience in managing investigations, deviations, and CAPAs.
  • Ability to collaborate with international and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mobilize a team of product and process engineers to support the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to deploy best practices.
  • Ensure alignment of the site's technical strategy with future directions.
  • Interact with internal and external auditors during inspections.
  • Oversee investigations, deviations, and CAPAs, and improve their efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance of activities and documentation with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Oversee the strategy and practices for process validation.
  • Conduct risk assessments (cleaning, new products/processes) and ensure necessary validations.
  • Develop and execute validation protocols in collaboration with operations.
  • Provide strong leadership, develop talent, and optimize team performance.
  • Support and coach team members on technical issues.
