About The Position

Bayshore HealthCare is one of Canada’s leading providers of home and community health care services. Bayshore is seeking passionate and caring Respite Support Workers to join their exceptional team. The role involves enhancing care for clients of all ages and backgrounds with compassion and excellence, creating meaningful moments for clients daily while providing exceptional care. This position requires individuals who enjoy working with children and have experience supporting children with special needs. The responsibilities include supervising, engaging in age-appropriate activities, assisting with routines, and ensuring a safe and positive environment. A key responsibility is attending Summer Camp with the children for July and August.

Requirements

• Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required)
• Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle
• Successful candidates will be required to provide 3 supervisory references
• Successful candidates will be required to provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
• Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of being negative for TB
