About The Position

The Supportive Roommate will provide in-home support for 2-3 weekends per month, assisting a client with personal care and daily activities. This role involves supporting the client in various life skills such as budgeting, household management, grocery shopping, meal preparation, health and medical support, transportation, and engaging in recreational activities like bowling and swimming.

Requirements

• Willingness to do personal care required.
• Experience working with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges.
• Experience providing behavioural supports to clients.
• Comfortable with going to sports bars and attending sports events with client and supporting them.
• Ability to help client balance social outings and relaxation time.

Nice To Haves

• Vehicle may be required for this position.

Responsibilities
