About The Position

This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Respite Provider to work with an energetic young boy in the Wausau, WI area. Family is Spanish-speaking. The ideal candidate would be bilingual and committed to helping the child thrive through consistent routines and gentle guidance.

Requirements

• Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Previous experience working with individuals with support needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care and supervision during all indoor and outdoor activities.
• Engage the child in supportive and age-appropriate activities such as walks, movement games, and quiet time.
• Assist with potty training goals
• Ability to communicate with family regarding sessions.
• Hang out and have fun! This kiddo enjoys going to the park, jumping on trampolines, wings, and so much more.
