About The Position
Camp Cheerful, a 52-acre facility part of Achievement Centers for Children (ACC), is seeking a Respite Overnight Camp Coordinator. ACC has been empowering children and adults with disabilities and their families since 1940. Located in the Mill Stream Run Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks in Strongsville, Ohio, Camp Cheerful offers traditional camp activities. This role involves providing personal care, supporting counselors, and planning activities for campers aged 16 to 99 with disabilities. A 1 counselor to 3 camper ratio is maintained for the Overnight Camp.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Personal care like toileting/changing required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year supervisory experience preferred
