About The Position

Jovie is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home respite care for children with support needs throughout the Orange County area. If you have childcare experience and enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences while giving families the support they need, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact. Whether you've worked as a nanny, babysitter, daycare teacher, preschool teacher, paraprofessional, camp counselor, or have other professional childcare experience, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of infant childcare experience
• Love working with infants
• Dependable and professional
• Communicate well with parents and children
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Can provide references (At least 2 related to childcare work; 1 character reference)
• At least 18 years old

Nice To Haves

• Experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings, not to include experience working with family and friends.
• Monday-Friday availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, engaging in-home care for children with support needs
• Create fun activities, including crafts, games, reading, imaginative play, and outdoor activities
• Help children feel safe through patience, consistency, and encouragement
• Support daily routines while maintaining a positive, structured environment
• Communicate with parents about each child's day and individual needs
• Build meaningful relationships with local families
