Respite Care Provider (Level 3 and Level 4)
About The Position
Advent Services is seeking Respite Care Providers (Level 3 and Level 4) to support the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP). The EFMP Respite Care Program provides short-term relief to primary caregivers of military families with special medical or educational needs, aiming to reduce fatigue and sustain readiness. This contract role involves delivering consistent, compliant, and high-quality respite care services to eligible families.
Requirements
- Level 3 Provider: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., child development, special education)
- Level 3 Provider: A current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with at least one year of relevant post-certification experience.
- Level 3 Provider: A minimum of two years of direct, documented experience working with individuals with special needs
- Level 4 Provider: A current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Level 4 Provider: A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with at least one year of clinical experience
- Level 4 Provider: A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, special education) with at least two years of documented experience providing complex care to individuals with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide Respite Care. Qualified providers shall deliver safe, reliable, and compliant respite care services to eligible EFMP family members in accordance with their assigned level and the family's service plan.
- Arrive on time and complete the full scheduled service period.
