About The Position
We are looking for a Respiratory Therapy Tech at Howard Memorial Hospital. We are a critical access hospital located in Nashville, Arkansas. We provide comprehensive patient-focused care in a variety of settings— emergency, surgical, inpatient and outpatient—delivered by skilled medical professionals. Our not-for-profit status ensures that all financial resources remaining after expenses are re-invested in the hospital to improve technology, the facility and patient services. This is a PRN, non-exempt position in Cardiac Rehab/Pulmonary.
Requirements
- Valid, current AR respiratory license.
- Two years recent, relevant experience in respiratory care.
- Demonstrates a willingness to strive toward proficiency in the clinical competencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Work within a comprehensive healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assessment of patients admitted to the program.
- Educate patients according to their diagnosis.
- Document in patient’s records outcomes of therapy daily.
- Responsible for oximetry, heart rate, and blood pressure measurement.
- Assist in inputting charges into the computer system.
- Assist with exercising patients daily.
