About The Position

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. Loyola Medicine Transport is based at Loyola University Medical Center and is part of a three-hospital system including Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital. This role coordinates activities which result in an efficient operational status of the department. Activities include the acquisition, distribution, stocking, ordering, and inventorying of all Respiratory Care supplies including gas cylinders. Arranges repairs for broken equipment, preventive maintenance, manages detailed records of all supply purchases, tracks repairs histories of all equipment, and is constantly vigilant of budget control issues.

Requirements

• Associates Degree on respiratory care
• 3-5 years of previous job-related experience required
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• Current Respiratory Care License State of Illinois

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree preferred
• 6-10 years of previous job-related experience preferred
• Managerial Experience: 1-2 years
• ACLS and PALS preferred
