About The Position
Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Assistant to join their Respiratory Care department. This PRN position involves assisting in the provision of respiratory therapy, maintaining adequate inventory of supplies and equipment, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring equipment is ready for use and functioning properly. The role also includes coordinating and documenting equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of respiratory therapy.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Prepare treatment areas for therapy and maintains in safe and sanitary condition.
- Maintain equipment to ensure it is ready for use and functioning properly.
- Coordinate and document equipment maintenance.
