Eastern Montana-Respiratory Therapist-Night Shift-6 on 8 off
About The Position
Sidney Health Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our I CARE team in the Respiratory Department setting. This role is critical to both the Inpatient and Outpatient setting, performing quality respiratory treatments and testing on all age groups. The position involves assisting with patient and family education, developing plans for successful discharges, and may include outpatient testing (PFT’s, Stress Tests, EKG’s, etc.) as well as caring for inpatients and in the emergency department. This is a Critical Access Hospital position where the therapist will be able to work solo.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- EPIC experience
- Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed by the State of Montana
- Current in BLS, NRP, PALS and ACLS
- Ability to work with and have knowledge of various respiratory equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work with all age groups
- Newborn experience required
- Ability to educate patients and families on respiratory diseases and medications
- Experience with various testing such as Pulmonary Function Tests/Stress Tests/EKG's
