About The Position
Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals, constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patients.
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient testing.
Responsibilities
- Provide logistical support for the operations of the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department.
- Assess, educate, monitor, and treat patients enrolled in pulmonary and/or cardiac rehabilitation programs.
- Improve patients’ respiratory and cardiovascular health through individualized exercise programs, patient education, disease management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Promote safe exercise participation.
- Monitor patient response to therapy.
- Support long-term lifestyle modification.
