About The Position
Respiratory Therapists at St. Cloud Hospital provide quality, personalized, and compassionate care to patients across inpatient and outpatient services. They are part of a diverse, dynamic team and contribute to lifesaving response teams during patient emergencies. The 489-bed hospital has a Level II trauma center and a Level III NICU, with patients ranging from premature infants to centenarians. The role is in the hospital’s state-of-the-art Respiratory department in Central Minnesota.
Requirements
- Graduate of a two- or four-year Respiratory Care Program.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC within two years of hire.
- Minnesota Respiratory Therapist (RT) license or temporary RT permit.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card, which can be obtained upon hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 1.5 years of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 1.5 years of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1.5 years of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized and compassionate respiratory care to patients.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient respiratory services.
- Participate in lifesaving response teams during patient emergencies.
