About The Position

Reporting to the Manager of Respiratory Services and under the supervision of the Supervisor-Sleep Laboratories, the incumbent provides polysomnographic testing and scoring in accordance with established policies and procedures as assigned. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. Requirements

• Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
• Interpersonal skills
• Communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in high stress and in emergency situations
• Ability to be flexible
• Ability to take initiative
• Demonstrates ability to accept and implement change
• Sound clinical judgement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapist (SCRT)
