Requirements

Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical respiratory care setting.
Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy protocols and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients with pulmonary conditions.
Assist with bronchoscopies, pleurex, and other procedures as needed.
Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis.
Assist with senior nursing facility patients as needed.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment.
Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress in medical records.
Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
