About The Position
The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care and life support to patients with abnormalities and deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system by prescription and under the supervision of a physician. This full-time position will work 12-hour shifts on night shift.
Requirements
- RT license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Responsibilities
- Obtains physician's order 100% of the time prior to initiating therapy.
- Able to appropriately assess all patients before and after therapy is delivered 100% of the time.
- Sets up all routine therapy modalities according to policy and procedure 100% of the time.
- Able to set up and monitor all life support equipment according to policy and procedure 100% of the time.
- Able to set up and perform EKG's on patients in a timely fashion.
- Able to perform all POCT including controls, proficiencies and documentation.
- Maintain all State and Joint Commission requirements for licensing and accreditation.
- The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
