About The Position

The Staff Pad has partnered with Unity Medical Center to hire a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist. This role provides respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic testing to patients in both acute and outpatient settings, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

CRT or RRT credential required
Active state licensure (or eligibility) required
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred
Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
Ability to respond effectively in emergency and critical care situations

Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosol, high-humidity, and ventilator support
Perform arterial punctures and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Conduct pulmonary function testing and EKGs
Assist with chest physiotherapy and emergency respiratory interventions, including CPR
Support long-term ventilation management and critical care patients
Document all treatments and patient responses accurately in medical records
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to coordinate care
Assist with stress testing procedures alongside Nuclear Medicine and Nursing teams
Serve as a clinical resource for respiratory care best practices
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
