About The Position
Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join their team. This is a full-time position with day and night shifts available, offering a $20k bonus opportunity and a new Clinical Career Ladder for full-time employees. Participants in the Clinical Career Ladder are eligible for pay increases after successful completion of the Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert Level. Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND, is a 41-bed Critical Care Hospital providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. The hospital specializes in treating medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The hospital offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment where staff can get to know patients and their families.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program required.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment required.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
- ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred.

- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing efficient, quality-oriented patient care within the scope of the department's policy/procedure manual.
- Performs support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes, inventory, and sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.
