About The Position

This is a limited-time opportunity for external applicants to earn premium pay and bonuses as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) with full benefits. The role involves providing respiratory care in various hospital areas, including special care units, and maintaining appropriate documentation. The position may include supervisory responsibilities when adequately prepared. The role is classified as safety-sensitive, meaning impaired performance could harm oneself or others. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
Satisfactory completion of the certification examination by the NBRC.
Licensed to practice respiratory care in the state of Arkansas.
BLS required.
Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, associated, patients, and visitors.

Nice To Haves

ACLS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Delivers appropriate care to patients from neonatal through geriatrics with regards to age specific considerations.
Communicates effectively with physicians, associates, patients, and visitors.
Maintains appropriate documentation as required by administration, state, and federal authorities, and regulatory agencies.
May be assigned supervisory responsibilities when adequately prepared.
