About The Position
A healthcare facility outside of Littleton, New Hampshire is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join its respiratory care team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a night shift, offering 10-hour or 12-hour schedules. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The role involves providing respiratory care throughout the hospital, including Emergency Department, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and specialty patient care areas. A $8,000 sign-on bonus is available.
Requirements
- CRT or RRT credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain a New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Comfortable providing care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations
Nice To Haves
- Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory assessments and deliver treatments, oxygen therapy, and airway management interventions
- Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation while monitoring patient responses to therapy
- Respond to respiratory emergencies, rapid response events, and changing patient care needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality patient care
- Prioritize and manage a diverse patient caseload while working independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
