Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Associate's degree in respiratory therapy (required)
- Current and active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Therapy Technician (CRTT) with National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentials in New Jersey (required)
- 2+ years of experiences in long-term care or hospital setting (required)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care treatment using equipment like oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, airway support, CPR, and other clinically appropriate therapies
- Teach and support to residents, families, and team members
- Monitor and document patient care in timely and accurate manner
- Communicate updates with care team, residents, and families to provide individualized support
- Comply with professional, ethical, and legal standards
