About The Position

A healthcare system near Lake Charles, Louisiana, is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist for a direct-hire position. The role provides pulmonary care to critical, non-critical, and chronically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician direction and with minimal supervision. The Respiratory Therapist manages ventilators, administers treatments, conducts diagnostic tests, assesses patient progress, and adjusts respiratory therapy as needed. The role also works with healthcare professionals to deliver inhalants and operate respiratory equipment as part of patient treatment plans. Pay is $23.50–$38.90 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• RT or RCP license in the state of hire.
