UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.
Requirements
- Graduate from COARC accredited respiratory care program.
- Licensed practitioner by the State of Texas Medical Board.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provides patient care to those suffering from acute and chronic respiratory problems.
- Job duties and responsibilities are related to General Therapy, Critical Care, Education, Processing Control, Pulmonary Services Research, and Leadership.
