About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist will perform diagnostic procedures and ensure ventilators and life support equipment are operable. This role is responsible to the Director of Cardiopulmonary.

Requirements

• Education: Associates Degree or two year Certification in Respiratory Care.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
• Attains and Maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Attains and Maintains NRP within 90 days of hire.
• Attains and Maintains ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Background Check.
• Lab Work.
• Immunization Records.
• Ability to talk to patient and/or staff.
• Ability to hear patients and/or alarms.
• Vision (near and/or far).
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Respirator Fit Testing Required Annually.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year Respiratory care experience preferred.
