About The Position

The Corewell Health Sleep Center is a 16-bed outpatient facility serving patients of all ages, including infants and children. Our team of sleep experts includes board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners. We offer comprehensive sleep studies, including those for infants, and can accommodate patients requiring daytime sleep studies. Accommodations are available for accompanying parents, guardians, or spouses.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree of Applied Science degree in Respiratory Therapy
• LIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required
• CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required

Responsibilities

• Implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders.
• Participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians.
• Provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care.
• Assists with general department functions.
