About The Position

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist to join their team. This role involves working in a new hospital with advanced technology, including private patient rooms and therapy gyms. The position is for 2 days per week, with 12-hour shifts. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care as ordered by a physician, monitoring mechanical ventilation, administering medications, patient assessment, understanding hemodynamic monitoring, analyzing blood work results, and providing patient education and training.

Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist for state licensure agency
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
