In our Respiratory Therapy department, we are committed to transforming lives through personalized care, cutting-edge techniques, and a patient-centered approach. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources to empower our technologists to provide the best care possible. The Respiratory Therapy Unit consists of 29 employees who provide 24/7 coverage to a patient population that ranges from Adult, Pediatric, and Infant. The unit is home to a Level 3 Neonatal team. Shifts are generally 12 hours. The Respiratory Care Lead is a clinical expert, responsible for oversight of the respiratory care team, ensuring smooth operations and the delivery of high-quality patient to care to all ages, including experience and clinical competence in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, during their assigned shift. The Respiratory Care Lead functions as an integral member of the departments management team providing clinical leadership, staff management, consultation and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team, utilizing evidence best practice to guide respiratory care.
