About The Position

Treasure Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders as prescribed. The role takes primary responsibility for respiratory therapies, coordinates respiratory services with other resident services, and documents the respiratory care provided and patients’ responses.

Requirements

• Possess a current Respiratory Therapist license issued by the state.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders as prescribed.
• Assume primary responsibility for respiratory therapies, including supervising respiratory therapy technicians.
• Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment.
• Collaborate with and coordinate respiratory services with other resident services to ensure continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care.
• Complete and review respiratory therapy notes and charting, ensuring they describe the services provided and document the response to care.
