About The Position
Sentara Health is recruiting Registered Respiratory Therapists to work at Sentara BelleHarbour in Suffolk, Virginia. This is a PRN position with a rotating shift. The role requires an associate or bachelor's degree, with specified exceptions for certain applicants holding RRT credentials. Candidates must have a state respiratory license and BLS at hire; NBRC RRT certification is also required at hire except for new graduates, who must obtain it within six months of hire. No experience is required, though one year of respiratory care experience is preferred. Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree required. Applicants without a degree may also be considered if they held RRT credentials before January 1, 2006, or graduated from a military respiratory therapy program and hold RRT credentials.
- State respiratory license required at time of hire.
- BLS required at time of hire.
- NBRC RRT required at time of hire, except new graduates must obtain NBRC RRT within six months of hire.
- No experience required.
