About The Position

A healthcare facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide inpatient respiratory care services and support patients with a variety of respiratory conditions. This on-site position plays an important role in assessing, treating, and managing respiratory needs while collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver safe and effective patient care.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, required.
• RRT license in the state of Arkansas, required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory care services, including patient assessment, treatment, and ongoing respiratory management.
• Perform respiratory therapy procedures according to established clinical standards and protocols.
• Manage ventilator support and assist with airway care for patients requiring respiratory interventions.
• Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and monitor patient response.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
• Document respiratory assessments, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately.
• Maintain compliance with department policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support quality patient care through effective communication, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making.
