Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy required
  • Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) licensure is required
  • (BCLS) Basic Life Support certification is required

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS and PALS preferred
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions across all age groups.
  • Performs diagnostic testing, administers and evaluates ordered therapies, and collaborates with physicians to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Responds to emergent situations, including codes, educates patients and families, maintains respiratory equipment and supplies, and ensures accurate documentation in the electronic medical record while adhering to evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.
