This role is responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and administering Respiratory Care procedures in accordance with physician's treatment plan. This includes mechanical ventilation and airway care, respiratory treatment, emergency respiratory maneuvers, and transport and maintenance of critically ill patients for special tests and procedures. The Respiratory Therapist performs and interprets tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care, attends hospital educational programs and patient care rounds, and precepts college students/interns from respiratory care programs. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for this position.
