About The Position

Voorhees Pediatric Facility (VPF) is a Nationally recognized Pediatric Specialty Care center for Medically Fragile Children/Adolescents/Young Adults that offers 119 in-patient beds and the largest freestanding pediatric ventilator program in the country. VPF continues to be recognized as a leader in pediatric healthcare, and in 2013 VPF received the highest accreditation awarded by The Joint Commission. In addition, VPF has expanded to include The Bancroft School at Voorhees Pediatric Facility, Voorhees Pediatric Facility Medical Daycare, and Voorhees Pediatric Rehabilitation Services (VPRS). The mission of VPF is to advance the full life potential of medically fragile children by providing excellent holistic care in a supportive environment. The Respiratory Therapist position involves daily patient care-related functions and any individual responsibilities delegated from the Director/Supervisors, providing care as described in the facility’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

• CRT or RRT credentialed
• Current NJ licensure in Respiratory Care.
• Current/Active CPR Certification (only AHA or ARC are accepted; certification must include cognitive and skills training).
• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Pediatric experience preferred.
