About The Position
The Respiratory Therapist role involves providing routine respiratory care across various patient populations and settings. This includes administering medicated aerosol treatments, oxygen therapy (including high-flow), assisting with bedside bronchoscopies, performing arterial punctures, analyzing blood gas samples, and managing ventilators. Therapists in the NICU setting will also assist in c-sections and high-risk deliveries, and may perform inter-hospital transports. NICU therapists will rotate through all patient care areas.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience
- Experience in Pediatric, adult, and geriatric care
- Experience in ED, ICU, and general floors
- Willingness to take COVID patients
