Requirements

Graduate of an approved respiratory care technology program with a current North Carolina Respiratory Care license.
Registered Respiratory Therapist credential or CRT credential.
Minimum one year of clinical Respiratory care experience required.
Clinical life safety certification requirements must be achieved prior to the end of the probationary/training period include: ACLS, PALS and NRP.

Nice To Haves

RRT preferred.
Three (3) to five (5) years of current clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
NICU and Pediatric experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform all types of oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, airway management with intubations, arterial punctures and analysis, invasive and non-invasive ventilation management protocols.
Evaluate the respiratory needs of patients and develop and implement a Respiratory Care Plan based on Clinical Practice Guidelines.
