About The Position

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist experienced in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The therapist sets up prescribed respiratory equipment promptly after receiving physicians’ orders. Experience with ventilator management is required.

Requirements

• Clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Must be at least 21 years old to be covered by company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must hold an active RRT or CRT license.
• Experience providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting.
• Experience with ventilator management.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver respiratory equipment, including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs, in hospital and home settings.
• Complete delivery and pick-up paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Instruct patients on the proper use, maintenance, and safety of their medical equipment.
• Make follow-up phone calls to patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
• Provide follow-up care in the home setting as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
