Requirements

Experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
Compassionate and caring attitude
Proven ability as a self-motivator
CRT or RRT certification

Responsibilities

Efficiently handles emergency patient situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate personnel and documenting events.
Participates actively in staff development activities sharing knowledge with others and using appropriate teaching/learning strategies to assist peers.
Creates therapy programs for patients based on the specific instructions of Physicians.
Engages in diagnostic evaluation, treatment and control of deficiencies and abnormal functions found in the patients cardiopulmonary system.
