About The Position

HME Specialists is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient-focused respiratory care and support. The role involves completing and managing patient accounts, working directly with patients and providers, maintaining patient documentation, communicating with the team, and coordinating with referral sources. The Respiratory Therapist also helps navigate insurance processes, including verification and prior authorizations, to support an efficient patient experience.

Requirements

• Valid RRT or CRT license and current New Mexico RCP license required; applicants with a Respiratory Therapy student license will also be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt, solve problems, and think critically in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage patient accounts and handle insurance verification and prior authorizations accurately.
