About The Position
Administers respiratory care and life-support treatments to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies; serves as a resource for respiratory department technicians.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Licensed/Certified by MS State Board of Health.
- ACLS and PALS required.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/ACLS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients per protocols.
- Adjust therapy based on patient response.
- Demonstrate proper equipment use and report malfunctions.
- Monitor patients and respond in emergencies.
- Document care accurately; follow infection control.
- Precept students; communicate with physicians.
