As part of our respiratory therapist team, you will partner with physicians and staff to provide patient-centered care and outstanding service with respect. Your expertise will advance the patient plan of care to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will work with patients and families to provide age and culturally appropriate care, treating and evaluating patients with respiratory insufficiencies. This role involves implementing conventional ventilation methods and performing duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, and storing respiratory equipment.

Requirements

Associate’s Degree from an accredited respiratory care program.
Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
Registered by the NBRC CRT or eligible for NBRC RRT within 18 months of start date.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required once in role.
Previous acute care experience required.
Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with patients, staff, physicians and visitors.
Ability to evaluate and provide exceptional care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
Expertise of respiratory treatments.

Nice To Haves

Level II NICU preferred.
