About The Position
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will care for a variety of patients and assignments across all service lines, sharing your knowledge and skills to help guide patient care. The team works with autonomy and makes key decisions to improve care for critically ill patients, drawing on a broad knowledge base and advanced skill set. The role offers opportunities to learn advanced care practices, including mechanical ventilation modalities and interventions for a diverse patient population. Examples include general adult care, neonates during in-flight transport, pediatric patients on high-frequency ventilation, and patients requiring ECMO in the medical ICU. The leadership team emphasizes teamwork and provides education opportunities to support independent decision-making across the continuum of care for challenging and critically ill patients.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care.
- Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program.
- State of California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
