About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, administering prescribed treatments and therapies, and managing various respiratory equipment. You will play a crucial part in evaluating patient responses to treatment and ensuring clear communication within the healthcare team. Adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards is paramount.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the State of Arkansas
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications
• Ability to work effectively in physically demanding clinical environments.
• Ability to work in environments involving potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered.
• Manage and monitor oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, ventilators, and other respiratory equipment.
• Evaluate patient response to treatment and communicate changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
