This is a benefited, Full time, night shift position as an RCP at La Jolla Memorial hospital. Requirements

Current California RCP license required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
Technically competent in the department skills inventory.
Computer literate.

Nice To Haves

One or more years acute care experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Enjoys working with the public.
Graduate of one or two year AMA School of Respiratory Care preferred.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with other caregivers, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates action for respiratory care.
Performs all technical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care.
Performs other core responsibilities to maintain the flow of patient care.
May provide additional patient care within their scope of practice as permitted by licensure, certificate or training.
Utilizes computer systems in performing position duties.
Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Participates in quality control, preventative maintenance and performance improvement activities.
