About The Position

In this role, you will provide the full spectrum of respiratory care services as prescribed by physicians, utilizing a wide range of modalities in alignment with established standards, protocols, and best practices. You will assess patient needs, administer treatments, monitor responses, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal respiratory function and overall patient well-being. This position is ideal for a clinically skilled and adaptable professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, is committed to patient-centered care, and values continuous learning to stay current with evolving respiratory therapies and technologies. We offer a starting hourly rate of $36.46, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the posted pay range reflects the potential compensation for this position. The final offer may vary based on an individual's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. In addition to the starting hourly rate, the following shift differentials apply: $1.50/hour – Weekend Day Shift $1.75/hour – Weekday Evening Shift $3.00/hour – Weekend Evening Shift $2.00/hour – Weekday Night Shift $3.75/hour – Weekend Night Shift

Requirements

  • License to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the State of New York.
  • Graduation from a Respiratory Therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
  • Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Nice To Haves

  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • Critical care experience
