Requirements

• Current and valid license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with the Georgia Composite Medical Board.
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program with an Associate’s degree.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least two (2) years of current experience post-residency/new graduate orientation in the clinical areas in which they will be working.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardia Life Support (ACLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) by the American Heart Association.
• NRP is only required when rotating to the NICU or attending deliveries.
• Minimum of one year of experience with non-invasive pressure devices. ( CPAP Department Only)

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one (1) year of travel experience with an external or internal agency program (excluding float pools).

Responsibilities

• Regularly performs respiratory care for patients in adult, neonatal care, and/or outpatient CPAP centers.
• May perform ECG, EEG, pulmonary function testing, & bronchoscopy, and any other testing as deemed within the scope of practice by national standards.
