About The Position

Loyola Medicine, Illinois’ premier academic health system, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join their high-performing respiratory care team. This role involves delivering advanced, compassionate care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations within a nationally ranked, quaternary care system. Requirements

• Associate’s degree in respiratory care
• Illinois RT license (or within 6 months)
• CRT (NBRC)
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP & PALS within 90 days (effective July 1, 2025)
• 3 years of previous job-related experience (for RT 3 level)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC (for RT 3 level)

Nice To Haves

• ACLS
• NPS and/or ACCS credentials
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
• Administer treatments, manage ventilators, and perform diagnostics
• Follow evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Serve as a lead/charge therapist, guiding workflow and supporting team members
