About The Position
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care Program
- Possession of current RCP State of Texas License
- Possession of current CRT / RRT Certification from NBRC
- Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA)
- Must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role
- AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering pedi
- AHA NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role if covering nicu
Nice To Haves
- Some experience in respiratory care or related area
- Renewal required every 5 years unless grandfathered prior to July 1, 2002
