About The Position

This role involves leading patient assessments to design personalized care plans for specific respiratory needs and improve recovery outcomes. The Respiratory Therapist will manage advanced respiratory treatments and life-support equipment to ensure stability and safety for patients with complex breathing challenges. They will also empower patients and their families through clear education and support their health journey. Additionally, the role supports life-saving efforts as a key member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing rapid, expert intervention during critical moments.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision required. Respiratory Care Practitioner provisional letter will be accepted until license is issued.
Certified Respiratory Therapist required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
3 years experience preferred
