About The Position

This position is responsible for delivering and assessing the response to ordered respiratory therapy per the plan of care. The incumbent will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, and evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcomes. This role also involves responding to emergency resuscitation team calls and educating patients and their families about their illness, medications, and community support resources.

Requirements

• CRT - Certified Respiratory Therapist or RRT - RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Active Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Kentucky required
• BLS and ACLS Certification.
