About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a permanent/part-time position in New Hampshire. Local candidates are preferred. This role involves administering respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities. The therapist will operate and manage various respiratory equipment, perform diagnostic procedures, administer medications, and collaborate with a healthcare team. The position offers a flexible schedule with 24 hours per week and is benefit-eligible.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy – Required
• Active Respiratory Therapist license – Required
• Experience with ventilator, BiPap, and CPAP equipment
• Experience with arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
• Ability to administer respiratory medications via nebulizer and metered dose inhaler
• Willingness to cross train in Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) studies
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary acute and critical care team
• BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
• ACLS Certification – Required

Nice To Haves

• NRP Certification – Highly Preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.
• Operate and manage ventilator, BiPap, and CPAP equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Administer respiratory medications through nebulizer and metered dose inhaler.
• Cross train and assist with Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) studies as needed.
• Serve as a resource and trainer within the Respiratory Therapy Department.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide acute and critical care services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
